Engine is fairly complete and includes the block/rotating assembly, both cylinder heads, original-style valve covers, intake manifold, valley cover, oil pan, oil filter housing and other components shown in the photos.
Engine has been sitting for many years and has surface rust, old paint, grease and general age-related wear. Internal condition is unknown and it should be considered a complete rebuild candidate/core. It has not been disassembled or inspected for cracks, cylinder wear or other internal condition.
Carburetor, distributor, exhaust manifolds and accessories are not included.
Great original early Buick Nailhead for a 1954-1955 Buick Special restoration, traditional hot rod, custom, rat rod or vintage engine build.
Original green paint is still visible in several areas. I have intentionally left the engine in its as-found condition rather than cleaning or repainting it.
